East Texas Swamp Hunting

Got these down in East Texas along the border with Louisiana. All swamp hunting before I moved to KY last year. Both deer I shot with my bow but I popped that pig with my .357 mag carry pistol. Head shotted that fella.

Yup ate all of em I shot. Never shot a big boar or sow though. They were always in groups when I’d see them, so I always tried to keep the ones I shot under 150lbs or so.

I shot her full frontal from above at like 10yds. The arrow was buried into her chest I just pulled it out a bit for the pic. I needed a couple of my buddies in Texas to see the arrow so they could whine about the frontal shot.
