We’ve been shooting the 120gr ELB Wedgeheads for a while. They sent me 1 of the new machined 125gr last year. We put it through 3 deer.

I broke down and ordered some with the Lusk Archery code. E3BAE9F9-84ED-4D82-9573-6D9743D29A2A.webp
We are only going to run these in my wife’s crossbow. I’m going to stick with the 120’s in my recurve and compound for now.

Are these the same ones you had that shot into cinder blocks and what not? I feel like they look familiar.

Yessir but these are the 125 gr not 120. Machined from solid piece instead of cast.

It is a slightly bigger head. 9/16” wedge vs 3/8”.

How is the noise or sound shooting those? Are they loud or not noticeably different than similar heads.

Not loud at all. With a cross wind shooting compound 50yards I hear them but I’ve never had a broadhead I couldn’t hear in those conditions, I’ve shot some mechanicals that sounded like a whistle tip with a crosswind.

In crossbow it’s so fast your hear string, impact on deer and the arrow skipping through the leaves.

They do have a non vented head in 175gr… I’m not that hardcore, yet.
