Any Youth Success?

Just wondering if any youth hunters (probably in the eastern half of the state) had a successful hunt today?

Had the boy out this mornin. We had a jake hold up about 60-70yds. Couldn’t get him in any closer and he eventually wondered off. 98% chance of thunderstorms tomorrow morning so that might be all she wrote for his youth hunt this year.

That’s too bad. Maybe you two can double on opening day next weekend. Looks like about 700 kiddos had a good day Saturday. Good luck to you and your son

Yeah he caught the full load of his .410. He wasn’t but about 14 yards.
