Will We Even Get To Crappie Fish?

With all of this rain I'm afraid we're not gonna get to fish for crappie until well after the spawn. Green, Barren, Nolin and Rough are all ridiculously high and gonna take weeks to get back to summer pool without any additional rain. I'm thinking either watershed lakes or something similar so I can scratch the itch.

Man I was so ready. First spring as a retired guy. Missing the white bass run too. Bummer! Have to take my frustration out on a turkey’s head.

This is my fear as well. Those fish will spawn up high in brush and flooded timber and when the lakes drop all the fry will be killed from the water drop. Likely to lose a whole year class
